Wendy Lo

Wendy Lo is a patient turned patient advocate for liver health and hepatitis B elimination. After being diagnosed with hepatitis B and living with it in silence for 28 years, she broke her silence when she became a #JustB storyteller* in 2022. Since then, she actively shares her experience living with Hep B and her advocacy journey in order to support fellow storytellers, increase awareness, promote education, tackle stigma, influence policy and support cure research. Her involvement spans community outreach, education workshops, fundraisers, advocacy on Capitol Hill, and engagement with industry, medical societies, and more. She serves as a member of Hep B Foundation’s inaugural global Community Advisory Board.
